Exactly as advertised. Sonja is a wonderful host. She mainly interacted with us in German, but her English was very good. Airco works well and all facilities are present. Nice and quiet neighborhood although parking is a bit rough (on the sidewalk on a hill) if you are used to a flat country like us.

This is such a great hotel! Old fashioned which I usually avoid but going by the reviews and the price I decided to give it a go. The staff are friendly, especially Sabine/Sabina (not sure which it was) who helped us with some luggage up to the second floor. She speaks pretty good English which helped as we are not German speakers and what she didn't know we were able to understand. Room was clean and comfortable with amazing views of the forest, sitting out on the balcony with a drink and birdsong all around was fantastic. Shower quite tiny and sink is in bedroom. We had a meal out on the terrace and the breakfast was good. I loved it but if you don't enjoy driving on slightly mountainous roads or being high up on a balcony then maybe don't book it (as my husband would unfortunately say..)
