Great location, down a quiet lane with easy access to the surrounding countryside but only a short drive from the A69. Plenty of space to spread out and good facilities, including kitchen; would suit a long stay. Loved the fact that Hadrian's Wall was within a few minutes' walk of the house.

The loft accommodation was exceptional. The location was close to Hadrian’s Wall.

The cleanliness and comfort of the cottage was really good with furnishings of a high standard. We slept really well in the king size bed. It was very easy to prepare meals and a bonus to have Sky TV! The location for the wall and Roman forts etc is superb.

Location perfect for Hadrians Wall and walks around the area. Close to many sites of interest. The property had everything we needed and more, could easily spend a week or two here comfortably. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Would be delighted to stay here again. Perfect

The location was perfect for the Hadrian's Wall Path. The rooms were outstanding and the breakfasts and evening meals were fantastic. Clare was a perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommended and was one of the very best B&Bs we've stayed in.

Really enjoyed our stay. Accommodation larger than expected. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Excellent location for exploring Hadrian's Wall in beautiful unspoilt countryside. Helpful hosts. We would definitely recommend.

We booked a stay for one night while walking Hadrian’s Wall path. The owners were very accommodating - they were able to set up a single bed in our room to make it a room for 3. Our room had a large tub which was great for soaking after a long day of walking. Clean, comfortable. Delicious dinner was offered onsite (booked in advance) and breakfast the next morning. The owners made us a packed lunch as well for our next day’s walk. Really lovely stay.

This is probably the best guest house we ever stayed in everything was perfect can’t find a fault if I tried / Claire was exceptional in every way going out of her way to have our breakfast ready early so we could get an early start and what a breakfast it was kept us going all day just wished we would have stayed there for the evening meal as other guests told us it was outstanding / great stay great place great location 10 out of 10 thanks

This is one of the most stunning properties I have stayed in. the decor and attention to detail are out of this world and the location is perfect.
Clare the owner could not have been more helpful from booking to arrival to check out going above and beyond to make us feel welcome

Excellent location, everything easily accessible by car. If you don’t plan on travelling for evening meal take food the fully equipped kitchen allows home from home facilities. Definitely explore the local area as it is full of little gems and delightful walks. We are planning to return next year and hopeful that this accommodation is available.

The accommodation was modern and spacious. The location is well placed between local pubs, and with easy access to parts of the Wall. Having a functioning kitchen was really useful. I was able to prepare an evening meal, and use the washing/drying machines. The cooked breakfast were very good, and there was plenty of continental options to choose from. The owners were really accommodating and helpful.
