Set in extensive and beautiful grounds the lodge had a very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. It was very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was very good. Staff were wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. It was everything I had hope for and at a reasonable price.

Rika and Mike are exceptional hosts. Very fast to respond to messages when making the booking, provide easy to follow instructions on getting to the home. Off-road Parking available. Lovely quiet and great location for visiting around the area. The help yourself breakfast was very good, toast, crumpets, cereal, muesli, yoghurts, bananas with a special extra treat of blackberries and cherries on our final breakfast morning. No porridge oats which I would have liked but not a problem at all as enough options. Comfortable and warm bedroom with enough storage for a weekend stay. Our host Laura was really helpful and kind. We will be back hopefully next year :)

Friendly and attentive host, copious amount of information, relaxed home-from-home atmosphere, peaceful, good produce for breakfast, lovely location with plenty of country pubs within a short drive - would book again in a heartbeat but so many other beautiful places in the UK to explore 😁

Location was very good, golf course looked amazing and well kept. Staff in bar area were very good, particularly Sunday morning breakfast person. Reception staff also very good.

Lovely quiet location, the owners were really lovely and welcoming, the property was separate from the owners accommodation so you didn’t feel as though you were intruding into their home.

Nice little lodge to stay in, I was only there for one night the bar was good comfortable room hot shower, and a great breakfast in a peaceful location.
