The place was very cozy and made you feel like home. The location is amazing and the room was comfy & warm. The breakfast was very nice and it would be even better if you had homemade pies & jams.

Harris was really welcoming and keen to help us enjoy our stay with great advice. He went well beyond the call of duty and drove me towards the monastery, in order to allay my fears of driving down the mountain road!. That's before kindly dropping some things we'd left at the airport!. The reviews of the apartment itself speak for themselves, it's a beautiful traditional style house in a lovely location.

We enjoyed our stay, it was our favorite place to stay. We got the room with the large "cave" like ante-room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we found places that we were not aware that made the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was very good with a lot presented to us, we felt bad since we don't eat a lot during breakfast and hate wasting food, in the last day the hosts gave us the left-overs to take for the trip. A very nice gesture.
Gartagani was the best place that we stayed in our trip.

The location is stunning with the guesthouse overlooking the town and the valley and Nena is a wonderful host, breakfast every morning is delicious and she is very friendly and helpful. This was our second time visiting and we will return again when in the area.

The hotel has an excellent location, looking down over Stemnitsa. It was very quiet and the host was very helpful with advice about visiting the nearby monasteries. Our initial room was small, but we were upgraded with no extra charge to a larger room with a balcony with a wonderful view of the town below. The breakfasts were excellent. It was a very pleasant short walk down to the center of the village, where there were several restaurants

This was our favorite accommodation on our three week travel experience in Greece. Beautiful room and location. Nena, our host was so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade breads and jams. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our host Nena was lovely, breakfast was home cooked and so special! She supplied us with very detailed explanations of walks and sights to see, organized taxis to pick us up. Location spectacular! This stay was the highlight of our trip!

Brilliant location, extremely helpful host, went out of her way to look after us - gave us excellent tourist info and a great vegan breakfast. Also a very comfortable room in a historic property well cared for. Great walks amongst beautiful mountains.

Beautiful building, super location. Delicious breakfast. Friendly host, who can tell you a lot of the environment with the Lousios George and the spectacular located Podromos monastery..
Tavery Stemnitsa in the centre has delicious homemade food.
Don't forget to discover Stemnitsa and the old backstreets with marvelous views.

Oh, UAU, what an incredible location with spectacular view, for us an unexpected jewel while traveling thru Greece. Stay was pleasant, very friendly and helpful host, rich breakfast and clean, lovely room. We enjoyed our stay very much. I think it˙s a great location for hiking, exploring greek history and if some bikes would be available, also for cycling - hint to the host - Slovenians are obsessed with cycling up the steep roads :).

Really welcoming and helpful host; particularly good to have maps of walks in the area, and excellent advice about the walks. Very good to be able to make oneself drinks at will. Nice patio with pleasant views. Overall, a fine place to stay.

Stunning views from our room with balcony. Large room, all very clean. Staff was very friendly. Perfect starting location for the Trail. We walked to Dimitsana, it was a beautiful hike!
