The tangkoko safety shop is a place on the beach which serves delicious lunches and dinners and their guides for the jungle trip are the best: Renny and Lea. Tangkoko guesthouse works closely together with Renny 's safety shop. Pacha, the owner, of tangkoko guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. Pacha arranged a 'mobile taxi' for 30.000 rp per person to Bitung area from where you can get a grab or indrive ride to your next destination. The rooms are big, hot shower(!!!), great breakfast with omelet to set you off for your morning jungle trip. Great view from my balcony, room on the first floor, of the part.watching the birds flying. Good WiFi.

The accommodation lies a bit secluded, but perfect for a couple of days of relaxing. The dive school is just across the street. You can also learn about pearl cultivation, a nice tour is offered.
Last but not least, the staff is very friendly and will make your stay as comfortable as possible. They can arrange transportation to your next destination. All in all: a perfect place to stay if you don’t want to cross to Lembeh island.

United KingdomI booked my trip in a rush, hoping to make a once in a lifetime visit to Sulawesi. I hadn't done much research, so it wasn't until I arrived in Lembeh that I realised I was far away from the famous Bunaken and could only do muck diving in Lembeh. The muck diving was PHENOMANAL for anyone wanting to see tiny stuff. However meeting other guests who had the foresight of booking the Manado and Lembeh sister resorts, I felt a bit embarrassed and a whole load of FOMO for coming to Sulawesi and not seeing Bunaken. I spoke to the management at Lembeh and they went away with my thoughts and after a day came back to confirm they had secured me a room and transfer at the sister resort in Manado and i would be able to continue my diving in Bunaken - and yes it was worth it, the coral walls and the turtles made it all worthwhile.
The staff were attentive and lovely at both resorts. The dive guides in Mando were very mature and excellent. The food was great and the atmosphere between guests was excellent. I had a fab time as a solo traveller at both Thalassa resorts.

Location is great, easy access to beach/water, great views of the main island with its volcanoes from the whole property. Spacious bungalow with a proper porch and hammock. Surrounded by jungle sounds including tarsiers! Very friendly staff that are always up for a laugh. Food was good, also vegetarian friendly. Very knowledgeable dive staff.

Good location right next to Tangkoko park. Tasty food. Great tour guides (Roy and Patrick). The communication with the host via Booking app (e.g. agreeing transportations and tours) was very efficient and the responses were fast.

Very beautiful location. Staff is super friendly and helpfull! Joachim is a very good and experienced guide! Close to the beach and entrance of the national park. And last but not least very comfortable beds!

An absolutely lovely place to stay while visiting Tangkoko National Park. Ana and her team are so wonderful and always so attentive to our needs. 2 weeks before our stay, Ana reached out to tell us all about the accommodation and also informed us about the tours that were available.
The rooms, sheets and towels were so clean, and foood… AMAZING. From the scrambled eggs at breakfast to the local dishes during dinner.

I loved the location, the food and the overall infrastructure. The early morning hike guides were really great. They were very knowledgeable, had big and powerful binoculars so we could observe the animals very well and even take pictures with our phones. The laundry service wast excellent and very affordable!

We enjoyed very nice holidays at Cocotinos Lembah, súper location for diving and also good for snorkeling. Places to explore in the water are just very close by.
The rooms are comfortable, the is a nice pool just in front of the view over the Lembah Strait and beside the open restaurant. Good food is served. Lots of possibilities to explore the underwater world, well equiped Diving Center.

The location was very close to the NP.
The food I had was very good ( I don’t eat meat and am very wary of rice when I travel, so I asked for their vegan dish with plain noodles and it was delicious both times.) Breakfast pancakes were excellent.

We arrived at the Manado airport late due to delays, but the owner said that it was no problem and we were picked up accordingly by a driver. The homestay has a great location right next to the entrance of the Tangkoko national park. They have very good guides available to see all the extraordinary wildlife in Tangkoko. The homestay also provides enjoyable meals for a good price. We felt very welcome.

Probably the best place to stay in the area. The Room is big and comfy, the ac is working good and as mentioned in all the other reviews the food is amazing. We live in Indonesia since 3 years and can really confirm that :D Best Hotel food you can expect!

Perfect location, our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable and we got to see all the species we wanted to. Room was comfortable and clean. Beautiful setting and the staff were great.

Lovely place in walking distance to the nature reserve with simple and clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay for exploring the amazing nature of Tangkoko nature reserve. They offer nice dinner options, breakfast is rather basic though.

Nice location in a garden across the street from their restaurant.
Friendly owner family, nice tour guide which was organised trough the Tangkoko Ranger Homestay and you can start the tour directly from there.
They also can arrange you a driver back to Manado which is double prise, but there is basically no other options, because it's hard to find a grab out there.
You can take the public bus to the next town and then get a grab from there, which is cheaper but takes way longer.

A perfect stay for your adventures in Tangkoko. Foods are delicious. They have the most affordable and transparent fee for guides! It's worth considering ;) We also got the biggest room, although we booked for a smaller one. The location is just at the entrance of the national park. They also helped us to move to another location nearby for free. Definitely five stars for service!
