I experienced the Pearl Beach Resort as an exceptionally nature-connected place where I could completely relax. Nestled between a lush hill and an unspoiled coral reef, it's situated on a beautiful beach, protected within a wonderful garden filled with scents, colors, flowers, and birdsong. My hut, constructed almost entirely from natural materials, provided a sense of security and comfort. The staff were friendly and informal, making me feel right at home. I could spend all day in the restaurant, ordering whatever I wanted at fair prices. I felt completely relaxed. "I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking authenticity, appreciating nature, and sensing energy, as I felt this was a magnetic, energetic, and positive place. Walking around the island, I quickly realized I couldn't have found a better place. However, it's important to note that Indonesia, especially during the rainy season, faces a waste management issue. This is not specific to the Island, but it's important mentioning. With fewer tourists, the local waste management situation becomes more challenging. There are ongoing projects to address this, and visitors can choose to get involved. It's a personal decision: more tourists or slightly more waste. I personally have no regrets about my choice."

Alam Karang was our favourite place out of our one month in Bali and Lombok. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and it was cool at night. We loved the open air bathroom and the shower with an ocean view ( if you open the curtain on the bathroom door)! The food was fantastic! Ju and the rest of the staff were amazing! Snorkeling off the beach (follow the boat line out to the reef) was excellent, especially if you continue to swim left to the point where the reef is pristine! (At high tide)

Everything. Room was very big with beautiful terrace and hammock in front. The owners were very friendly and really caring. Breakfast was really very nice. The place is in a small village which was clean compare to the other villages on the other side of the island and everyone was very friendly.

KoKoMo is a really special place: So, highlights: The staff- incredible service, effort, natural engagement, friendliness. Everyone we met (I wish I had the word-count to acknowledge everyone!) was so great, and it made our stay super-special. There is obviously a real focus on training high-level customer engagement, and it really pays off - thank you! A special acknowledgment needed for attention to detail - I had mentioned in a standard email organising transport, that our wedding anniversary was on the penultimate night. Without any further input from me, they organised a private end-of-the-jetty, candlelit dinner along with flowers, speaker etc…all as a lovely surprise. Above and beyond! The food: we read the good reviews, but still managed our expectations - after all, it’s a very small island (and we live in SE Asia, so experience the lack of access to ‘modern supply chain’) - however, we were overwhelmed to discover the chef and team are truly accomplished, and exceeded our expectations every day. They even grow their own greens and herbs - delicious! Great balance of Asian and western choices, always cooked beautifully. Again- thank you- it really made our holiday special. Accommodation: we stayed in the 2-bedroom villa. It is fabulous…very, very spacious living area and outside space, super-comfortable huge bed and choice of bedding, large bathroom, gorgeous pool….all-round superb. Activities: we loved our boat trip, and found the snorkeling fabulous. Kokomo has a fab boat set up - beanbags to sit on to make the cruising between snorkel spots really relaxing. They also set up table, chairs, napkins, plates etc on a deserted beach for our ‘picnic’ lunch-very fun indeed! Having a tennis court was also a bonus for us. The main pool is delightful. Location: Gili Gede is a quiet and very local island…it is not there to service tourists, but all the locals we met were super-friendly. The scenery is stunning.

Fantastic location with snorkelling right outside of the resort. The resort is doing a wonderful job with coral conservation too. Staff couldn’t do enough to help you. Banana pancakes for breakfast were excellent. The resident cat - Lou - who chilled out on our terrace was a massive highlight!

The location was brilliant and it was fabulous being able to swim,SUP and kayak directly off the beach in front of Amahelia into the crystal clear water. The staff were divine and we were sad to leave. The Island is a true paradise and beautiful to walk around. It’s lovely interacting with the small local village and watching the comings and goings on the beach. We loved Amahelia !

Very nice and quiet location, big pool, nice snorkeling reachable from beach, very good restaurant (caught my own fish which was deliciously cooked by the chefs), super good and addictive massage and very very nice, attentive and professional staff - we will come back!

Location, very comfortable bed, delightful cotton sheets, excellent delicious extensive menu, relaxing on daybeds by beach, free use of snorkling, paddleboard and kayaks, and friendly helpful staff. No music, so enjoyable ambience of nature. Help with all enquires getting there and away.

Very nice resort right on the beach. Location of Amahelia is the best on the island. The beds and shower are good. The staff is so nice, they do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The pool is a big plus

Fantastic location. Snorkeling from in front of the resort. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Sustainability of the resort with solar power energy. Marine life conservation work done in the local area. Lots of coral and a diversity of marine wildlife. 100% coming again. December is a wonderful month to come.

The breakfast was amazing and the location was so peaceful. The villas were beautiful and comfortable. I also really enjoyed the two yoga classes offered every day. Amazing snorkeling right off the beach. The staff was so friendly and the other guests were very kind. This is truly a special place.

We loved our stay here! It's a great place to disconnect (especially as there's no wifi in the rooms). The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The location is great as it's a bit further from the main village, so the only noise you hear are birds in the garden 😍 also the reef right outside the hotel is the best snorkelling I've experienced in Lombok!

Such a beautiful location - a perfect place to relax! The snorkeling just in front of the resort was magical and the conservation efforts they are doing are awesome. All the staff were very friendly and quick to help. We enjoyed the yoga classes, free tea/snack time, and walking around the island.

The staff were wonderful ... just the best! The location is beautiful and very peaceful. Grateful there was no annoying pop music playing all the time to destroy the ambience. The food overall was good. The coral reef for snorkeling was right off the beach outside our villa. Watching the sunrise each morning was just glorious!
