This is a beautiful place to stay! The beds were warm an comfy, and we got to watch the sunrise from bed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Claire was an incredible host!

We thorough enjoyed our stay at Marsh Mere Lodge where we had a great nights sleep helped by the electric blanket which our host Clare had thoughtfully switched on for us! We were treated to a fabulous breakfast the next morning which set us up for the day!
The location is brilliant, overlooking the sea and a short stroll to the Kings Bay Inn for a few hot whiskeys and a bite to eat.

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and very special. Claire, the host, was really helpful and friendly. Location is excellent: short walk to nice little hike. Short driving distance to a lot of interesting places to see.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation has everything you need and with a separate toilet perfect for a family. The hosts always responded immediately. It was very quiet. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We would come again at any time.

Excellent location. Very clean. Kitchen equipped very well. Hot water all the time. Comfortable beds. Brilliant location to take a pet. Didn’t meet the host, but able to communicate by phone which was perfect. Local pub great for a drink. Nice pub/restaurants close by.
Really enjoyed out stay and will definitely return.

Lovely. The house was immaculate. Very well presented. Breakfast was great. Rooms were very comfortable especially the special deluxe room. Host was very friendly and helpful. Location was great - right on the bay. Easy drive to Hook Lighthouse.

The guest areas are a delightful step-back into beautiful period rooms with modern en-suite facilities and finished with an enchanting assortment of tokens from prior generations. Plus excellent breakfast and a lovely location looking towards Hook Head. A lovely surprise.

Claire's property was fantastic. An antique feel mixed with contemporary touches. We had a beautiful room filled with antique furniture with a view over the bay and its own terrace. All very clean. Excellent sitting room with grand piano and books, comfy sofas and views. A very good Irish breakfast in the morning. Wished we had stayed more than one night. Claire provided lots of helpful information and few interesting facts about the area. Very peaceful place to stay as it is a very small town with one pub!
