It has everything that you need. The netflix acc is a nice plus. I went here for the olde shillelagh and got my hands one the only one that he had ready. Definitely visit the shillelagh maker and the pub. Very friendly locals.

For those who want to walk in the Wicklow Mountains or do the Miners Walk at Glendalough, the Upper and Lower Lake: Hacketstown is a beautiful starting point. By car you are in your walking area within half an hour. By train from Carlow an hour to the heart of Dublin. The apartment above the Corner's Pub is approx. 100 m2, practical and well furnished for 2 to 4 people. The owners are the same owners of the pub downstairs, where you can also enjoy a nice meal. Everything around the same square: a supermarket, a takeaway, a pharmacy and a doctor's office. Highly recommended. We were completely happy with this apartment.

The location is the best thing about Madeline's. The beds are comfortable and the room well heated. The guest welcome pack is very informative and useful too.

The accommodation is in a small village & so everything is within walking distance. It's set in a beautiful location with lots of walking trails. The owners had left lots of information available which was really helpful.

Really great cooked breakfast, one of the best during our whole trip! Location was great for what we needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very big and comfortable bed. Really enjoyed the whole stay.

Nice place to stay, small double room even though a small room still big, bathroom is big enough, rooms comes with everything you need, the essentials, smart Tv, shop is just across the road, check in and out very easy, texting codes on your normal phone messages and you use them, one fault is the front door is heavy and you will have to give it a good push but other than that everything is perfect and I would gladly stay here again
