Jioty and Munna are super welcoming hosts, available, informative, curious with the desire to share and very informative. Dinners are great! In addition, the location is super lovely and quiet while next to the centre of the village.

the location is great for access to the town and to the surrounding countryside.
The owner, Monjit, was a really, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable man, with a laugh like the Dalai Lama. He’ll tell you all the places to go on the Island, and can get you in touch with other good people in places like Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh, and Mon in Nagar Land. Not only is Monjit a treasure … his staff are great too.

Amazing value for money for private room.
Long chair outside of room to lie down and relax.
Ceiling fan inside room to keep cool.
Location central, five minute walk to main market area.

Risong is a wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for a long vacation, Majuli is one of the best places and Risong is the best to stay.

The location is convenient for the main roads. The guesthouse has good vibes with nice outdoor sitting. The restaurant is super good. The owner is such an amazing guy, friendly and helpful.

I had a lovely stay. The owner and his wife were really nice and took care of all their guests. I was travelling alone and felt safe and welcome throughout my stay.

Friendly and knowledgeable host that is always happy to help. Helped us with lots of tips and a cycle route on the island (highly recommended!). The accomodation is located at a good location on the island and has a nice restaurant. Do not miss the traditional assamese food his wife prepares at their home.
