I spent wonderful time in this homestay. It is a new small hotel, just a few rooms, just with two employees only, that’s why very silent. Furniture of a very good quality and very clean. Food was delicious. The surrounding area is very peaceful, just a few houses nearby – very peaceful – additional advantage for people like me, who is looking for silence. The staff is very polite and respectful. I spent three relaxing days trekking to the tea gardens, you can go left or right on the village road and enjoy the landscapes. My full recommendation.

We had an amazing time at Mountain Valley Homestay, the rooms are comfortable with lots of space and a stunning view of the mountains and sunrise. It's in a quiet spot just out of town, we arrived with very little plans but Sonam showed us some gorgeous natural areas and beautiful buildings. Food is available for extra or cooking equipment for self catering. Sonam and his mother are exceptionally kind and generous couldn't recommend more.

Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner.Staff was extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy. Everything was excellent. It's a new luxurious hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, the room was luxurious with a wonderful smart TV. The food was great value. It was nice to have breakfast on my balcony.

We were warmly welcome by the host couple. We interacted personally connected well. Super comfortable stay and every minute need was vigilantly taken care of. The room in the homestay was clean and we'll maintained, giving amazing view of Darjeeling and Khanchendjunga. Mr. Navang made us feel home and was very kind to roam with us in Darjeeling to show and guide us about places to visit. The charm of this homestay is not only the beautiful traditional looking house, but also the kindness of the host.
