Very friendly receptionist, good breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which we enjoyed. Good location for trips to Diamond Beach, glacier outlets and glacier lakes.

Such a lovely hotel. We really expected a cheap hotel from the reviews, but can honesty say this hotel is lovely. Brilliant location (we chose it for proximity to our tour start location).
The food is delicious and normal pricing for Iceland. Breakfast was good too and they catered for gluten free with ease.
The rooms were comfortable and the shower was very good.
The room had beautiful views too with huge windows that opened fully.

Basic but clean and bright room with en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was nice but no milk, only creamer in a packet (does seem to be the standard in Iceland). Beautiful location, with lovely view from our window to the mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast had a good variety of options. The restaurant was open for dinner whilst we were there and served lovely food, we enjoyed the burger and the lamb shank.

Charming little country house with five guest rooms and a shared common space with shower and bathroom. The rooms are very quiet and the proprietor warm and friendly. This was a convenient place to stay for a glacier tour.

Location was perfect as it was right next to the glacier hiking and ice cave pick up point. Beds were comfortable and room was very warm. Overall it felt very clean in the bedroom. Got a free bottle of prosecco which was nice.
There was no TV in the room but wasn't a problem for us.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful surrounding nature in the middle of nothing :) Really good starting point for Jokursalon or Glacier hikes/caves :)

The location is great as you are surrounded by mountains and if you are lucky enough you can see the northern light. Also, it’s very close to Skaftafell and all the base camps of excursion organizations. Finally, the dinner was good, and actually, better than the breakfast.

Perfect location to go to the glacier, ice caves and diamond beach. We had 2 x large family rooms which were lovely! Beds were comfortable, breakfast was nice, views were gorgeous.
