Beautiful views in an excellent location close to many attractions including only twenty minutes' drive to The Cave, meaning we could book the first (quiet) tour there. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Staff at the reception was very helpful and had extended knowledge about tourist attractions in a range of 200km. The breakfasts were OK, the location is very quiet.

Hrìsmoar 5 was a great place to stay. The host let us know about local places to see and eat ahead of time which we were able to check out during our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable with scenic views.

It was quiet and clean location l. Perfect home from home to crash from seeing the sights along from Keflavík airport. The hot tub was great after a long day hiking Glymur! 😊

Beautiful guesthouse in a quiet location in nature. Super clean and tidy, actually much nicer than the pictures. Great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, and two very friendly and cute dogs in the yard. :)

incredible location in the middle of nowhere, deafening silence! The hot tub was a real treat. Its cosy and small but has everything you need, we cooked dinner and then slept under the stars!

Wood stove excellent! Location outstanding! Plenty of room for a family with multiple bathrooms. Super fun hot tub and sauna. Easy to find location near restaurants and attractions. Property owner/ manager communicated often to ensure we had no issues or questions.

Lovely property and kind staff. We checked in early to relax at the local hot pools and were pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean it was. It’s in a very random location and there wasn’t much around but was a perfect mid stop for driving back.

Remote location but this is the charm of Iceland. Interesting to pop in to nearby town of Reykholt. Really enjoyed the hot tub, watching the stars. Everything we needed was there. Good communications from host.

Great location after exploring Snaelfesness peninsula. Large comfy room, warm and quiet, amazing breakfast. Definitely recommend.

It is a very nice location, close to Hraunafossar and it is calm. The rooms are quite spacious, the integrated bathrooms could be a little bigger, for elderly people it is a little tight. The breakfast had basic choices, enough for a good start into the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely location outside Reykholt - great for hiking, access to glacier, waterfalls, museums around Rekholt, geothermal springs. Great common space with lots of atmosphere and spaces to sit, play games, have coffee or a glass of wine. Delicious meals served for dinner and breakfast buffet and coffee were perfect. Can’t go past the staff who go above and beyond to help out. LOVED our stay here. Didn’t want to leave.

This was the perfect location for a night of quiet and relaxation. Situated in a beautiful valley, on a clear night it would also be perfect for viewing the northern lights.
The cabin was cosy and with a generous living area, and the hot tub was superb!
