It started with a very warm and welcoming at the reception- we were told all necessary details at the beginning, so nothing was left unknown. In general the hotel is clean, tidy, constantly maintained. The rooms were super clean, very well dressed up, interior looks like brand new. Beds were super comfy, lightning just right on the spot. Bathroom fresh- you could feel the staff did their job very well! The Sauna area is modern and reflects the themes of the surrounding outside. Everything there clean and prepared welcoming. The staff at the restaurant works professional, friendly and warmhearted. The food from the kitchen is extraordinary tasty - you can feel they don't use flavour enhancers or sauce binders. Freshly cooked with a delightful taste - just enjoyable to eat.

Wow! We did not expect such a wonderful location. You cannot imagine the view from this hotel. Our room was modern and comfortable. The decor is lovely and we wondered if it was newly built but it has such charm and fits in with the area. When we started driving up the hill we joked "that's our hotel way up there" and yes, that was our hotel! Then there was the staff, so lovely and accommodating. Then there is the food, the breakfast was lovely and the dinner, out of this world! We estimated our dinner was worth over $100, which makes this hotel a bargain. If you can stay here, do it! If we are back in the Dolomites, we will definitely stay here.

We had a splendid stay at Hotel Patris. The hotel is modern and stylish, the staff is super friendly and supportive, food was excellent. The wellness and pool are very nice, well equipped and have a superb view. We were surprised they even organized infusion sessions. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the north-eastern part of the Dolomites (area around Tre Cime, Sexten, Lake Braies, ...). We also got good hiking advice from the hotel staff.

1. Rooms were having a small sit out area which is wonderful right? They were spacious, clean and had beautiful views. 2. Food - We booked the half board, and it was perfect. Not much options for vegetarian/ vegan but we have soup, ravioli and tiramisu. Everything was yummy. Not to forget the owner suggested us a white wine which was one of the best I had in Italy. Also, breakfast had lot of options and it was a buffet. 3. Staff - Wonderful staff and owners. They usually don't server dinner after 8PM but since we were arriving late they waited for us till 9PM and made some customisation to the dinner menu (I am a vegetarian and they usually don't have vegetarian menu).

I feel so lucky that I came across such an excellent accommodation. Everything was perfect. All the staff, place, rooms, breakfast, balcony views and the location, 5 stars! Hotel Trenker is a quaint family owned and run hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location provided convenient access to Alta Via 1 Trailhead and a short walk to the stunning Lago di Braies. We enjoyed the local Tyrolean dinner; breakfast included many local items like homemade breads & jam. The setting was peaceful and bucolic. Wish we stayed longer!

Everything was excellent! Very nice and cosy, the best stay in mountains so far! Will definitely come back. Great location, you can hike to the lake. Breakfast is amazing. Room was renovated and looked very modern and clean. Loved the green tiles and shower ☺️ Also dog friendly place

Lovely location with the lake within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable room with the added bonus of a balcony. We very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Would definitely recommend.

Good location within walking distance to Lago Di Braies (20 to 25 mins ) though the part of the path to the lake was a bit uphill. The restaurant food was good and the breakfast was ok .

The entire space was amazing! Such a good place for a group. Very cosy and fresh! We loved staying here, great facilities and location. There’s a little village with a grocery and cash point as well. It’s very close to the lake too! Beautiful views all round.

We had half board accomodation. The food was excellent! I am vegan, and they served the best vegan food for dinner I ever experienced in hotels! Tasty, varied - without soy and potato. Location is also perfect. I would highly recomend this hotel to all travellers!

Breakfasts and dinners were amazing, like in a good fine restaurant. I must say, the selection of honey, tea, coffee, jams, wine etc is fantastic. View from the room number and location is a great plus!
