I like the restaurants' selection and their excellent service quality, which was in my experience, exceptional for ski resorts. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed walking around in the hotel, it is clean and thoughtfully maintained. The shuttle bus service is also good, pickup from the train station is hassles-free.

There are plenty of spaces for parking in front of the guesthouse. The burger and beer was good at the restaurant. My room rate didn't include breakfast. Not sure if they have.

Location close enough to walk to ski area. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of food. Great coffe too! Room clean and very comfortable beds. Quiet location. Bonus of hot spring bath on site. On our arrival staff gave directions/map of area in English and suggested places to eat—very helpful as we don’t speak Japanese.
