I loved the spaciousness of the property, the kindness of the owners and the delicious homemade breakfast every morning. There are various community events held each week and many opportunities to meet interesting people from the Ikoma area. The short distance to the station is also a plus!

The ryokan was by far one of the high points of our trip. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, explaining everything in nearly perfect english. The ryokan also has a private bath that I was able to experience with my wife. The location is beautiful and calm, and I recommend waking up early and climbing the stairs to temple.

Amazing location in the mountains of Nara (an easy bus ride from Oji station), the property surrounding the temple was just beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious traditional meals. Lots of vending machines on site. This was the highlight of our trip and we'd absolutely do it again.

We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !

Everything was perfect from the friendly staff, to explanation, to the new furniture amenities and hand soap and body soap and towels in the bathroom. Thank you so much! For that price it is really good value. I just wish I had more space to put my clothing and shoes and that rooms with more drawers would be displayed on Booking pictures, that is maybe something to add on the booking bedroom offers, but I really enjoyed my time at Celecton Higashiosaka also Nagata station is so convenient 3 minutes walk to the exit. There is easy access to Osaka Castle, Daimaru Umeda, Pokémon Center, but also the other side to Nara, and to go further away to Kyoto or Kobe. Very recommended!

My room was fabulous, with my own onsen bath, on the balcony overlooking Nara's ancient imperial palace site. The staff excelled themselves with their helpfulness, and dinner was fantastic, despite my lack of chopsticks skills!
