The owner picked us up at the bus stop and welcomed us with a fresh drink. We were happy to stay at this villa. The room has everything you need, the ac, the fan and it was very clean. It is located a bit far from the center but we liked it even more, because it was super calm. The owner also dropped us at the temple entrance and picked us up from there on his tuktuk all at the price of pick me app. Then the other day he drove us to sigiriya and even packed us a breakfast to go (tip: put it in your backpack), showed us other places on the way back and then helped us arrange a jeep trip to the national park with the elephants. The breakfast and dinner we had there were delicious. The staff is extremely polite and friendly!

I booked this place because I read amaaing reviews… the experience I had exceed my expectations… you really feel part of the family from the very first moment, the owner is really considerate he truly cares about his clients!! He took me everywhere! Helped me with anything I would ask, made my stay unforgettable and truly local. Ask him to take you around you won't regret it, I has the best trips. The wife is also such a wonderful lady, she truly cares I could tell. Plus, location is the best, you are 10 mins walk to the cave temple in Dambulla which is the main attraction in the city. Delicious breakfast ( they arranged a gluten free option for me so good!!!) The bed is also very comfortable and hot shower very appreciated. I had a wonderful time.

We had an amazing 3 day stay with Nimal and his family. He took care of everything, drove us around Dambulla and neighboring cities and waited for us while we were exploring. Some of the kindest hosts we've ever stayed with! Anu and her family do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Anu's mother is an amazing cook and the breakfast (which is included) is traditional Sri Lankan and super delicious and there's almost too much of it, you will never leave hungry! The same goes for the dinner which is also strongly recommended. The terrace is super nice, with a view of the garden where monkeys and other animals sometimes come to visit. The location is good with just a short walk to the cave temples, the city center or the bus terminal. The room was basic but spacious and clean, and the bed had a mosquito net. We will definitely come back if we're in Dambulla again someday and will recommend everyone to stay here!

Excellent location and breakfast. You can easily walk to the cavetemple and the city center from the hotel. The owners were super fiendly and helfull. We stayed 2 nights and had one afternoon sitting on the terras enjoying the lovely garden.

Great place to stay. Friendly owner, who takes care of all his guests, ensuring they enjoy the stay in his guest house and Sri Lanka. And helping to plan the visit for those who haven't yet specified their plans Place is close to the city centre but in quiet area with no traffic noise. Restaurant with delicious food available (best roti I have ever eat). Tuk tuk and taxi service available. I would recommend it for everyone who plans to visit Dambulla.

It was a wonderful place to stay, in a beautiful location and very close to visit the Dambulla Cave temples. We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed by the hosts who also arranged us a tasty dinner on our first night. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! It was the first night of our honeymoon in Sri Lanka and it was a perfect welcome to the country

Everything was absolutely perfect: from an exceptionally friendly and helpful host who supported us at every moment stay, guided us to the bus station, taught us play carrom and and was easy to talk, to tasty and affordable food, clean and comfortable room and a fantastic location (just next to the main bus station). Couldn't recommend this hotel more, definitely the best location we stayed in Sri Lanka.

We booked the Standard Twin Room, it is a lot of ants in the room near the window. The owner upgraded us to the Double room with private bathroom, which was large, really comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very nice and helpful, e.g. they booked us a tuk tuk in very early morning. We rent there a scooter to go to Sigiriya and the city center. The location of the house is outside of the city in a quiet neighbourhood but not far away from the city.

Nice hotel in a nice location in the nature. Keep in mind that the location on booking.com is wrong. The hotel is not close to the city centre. Check the correct location on google maps. There is nothing next to it and you will need a tuk tuk to go to the centre, but the surrounding nature is nice. The rooms are spacious and nice. We also used the swimming pool and it was enjoyable. The breakfast and dinner buffet have a lot of variety.

Staff and Owner were the Most helpful and kind we‘ve ever experienced anywhere ! Rooms were small but had everything you need and the pool and surrounding area were really beautiful. Additionally the hotel is in the best location possible, directly in the center of dambulla and only a 1min walk to the public bus stop. Everything in Dambulla is easily walkable and all attractions like the cave temple, safari or Sigiriya is easily reachable by TukTuk or bus in 30min or less.
