I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

The Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.

We were driving our rented tuktuk from galle to negombo and decided to break the journey up in two days, so we spent one night here. And no regrets because this place was wonderful! The design of the area is peaceful and beautiful, the pool is well-kept without the overwhelming chlorine scent and the staff is friendly and helpful (when it rained they laid out umbrellas at our door!). It all made for a relaxing afternoon of lounging and swimming. The rooms are very clean and spacious, perfect ac and room climate. The bathroom deserves its own mention because there is a waterfall shower which feels luxerious and relaxing! We had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. I loved the chicken and cheese kottu while my bf found the fish and chips tasty. The fries were thin and crispy! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

A piece of heaven in the countryside of Sri Lanka. The villa is located inside a beautiful garden and just 10 min from the beach. The host will do everything to make you feel at home. I really appreciate that the host took me to visit the surrounding area free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan, Indian or Western food. For a very reasonable price, he also offers an excellent dinner. Thanks again :)

After nearly one month of travelling I arrived to Sea Pink and wow! It became clear, I saved the best for last. Beautiful guesthouse, luxurious feel, comfortable and spotless. And if that wasn’t enough 😁 The family makes you feel like a friend right away. No language barriers, even their sweet 3year-old son speaks English. I chose the Sri Lankan breakfast and every morning a sumptuous table of delicious food and fruits was set up for me. The location is a short 5min stroll to the most beautiful beaches along the west coast. Highly recommend this special place if you visit Bentota.

We stayed at the villa during our last 2 days in Sri Lanka. Very well maintained beautiful house located next to the ocean. The owner and staff were very friendly and made a great dinner and breakfast. We could easily stay here for a longer period. The rooms are very spacious and extremely well equipped. One of the best rooms we had during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

Cinnamon Bentota doesn't feel like a hotel. It feels like you're being hosted by a dear friend, or by close family. Everything little detail is thoughtful, inviting and makes you feel special and loved. You're immediately greeted with the unmistakable 'living in harmony with nature' architecture of Geoffrey Bawa and the beautifully designed spaces that you'll find all over the property, including a gorgeous natural rock pool, an quaint bar, or the Bloom Room which is perfect for an intimate high-tea or a quiet, private celebration. The lavish spread at breakfast, lunch and dinner reminds you of family get-togethers, and features all the classic Sri Lanka delicacies - hoppers, string hopper, curries, endless varieties of sambal; as well as european dishes. The chef on request even whipped up the traditional 'Lamprais' for us even though it isn't on the menu. But what lies at the heart of Cinnamon is their excellent staff. Be it the ever smiling Sulochana who heads Guest Relations, Priyantha who looks after F&B or Janaka, Kavidu, Dimuthu at the speciality sea-food restaurant. They are what makes Cinnamon Bentota what it is.

I rate a 10/10, because you can't put more, Cause it really is one of the few places that I have felt like home. Both Nelson and Alex, have been super attentive at all times, and their hospitality (also of their staff) have been truly charming. I want to highlight two things that we loved, the pool in the middle of the rooms, and above all Mr. Chef, Nelson himself is a spectacular cooker. It is also really appreciated the great attention they have given us at all times. Being away from home and being able to stay in places like this is really satisfying and comforting. If we return to Sri Lanka one day, we will surely stay at La Perla
