Amazing bungalow, very modern, clean, new, there are only 2 bungalows on property, extremely quiet, next to the lake where you can see lot of birds walking around. There is also restaurant on site, owners are so nice and helpful, they washed our laundry, ironed and folded. Location of house is outside Tangalle (10min ride with scooter). We enjoyed it so much.

We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.

Our stay at The Halcyon was amazing, the hotel is stunning and located on a such a beautiful unspoiled beach. My wife was not well when we first arrived and Zander (owner) and his staff when out of their way to make her feel comfortable. Breakfast was great, in fact all the food was spot on and the drink menu well thought out. We were there for the Sunday BBQ which was a real treat. We will be back 😀

Best location! It is located on the beach with big sunbeds and beautiful palms. Bed was comfortable and there was a mosquito net. Room with the sea view is absolutely the best with big terrace. There is also an Atmosphere restaurant with delicious breakfasts and tasty pizza, highly recommend!

Right next to the beautiful beach of Tangalle, the location is perfect ! The room was nice and spacious with a mosquito net, powerful fan and nice bathroom. The owner is such a lovely lady and cook beautifully, the breakfast and diner were really tasty :) I had a great evening having diner with the others guests sharing stories and adventures it was really pleasant :) I highly recommend Ananda Homestay if you're staying in Tangalle. Thank you for the lovely stay :)

Grand Samudra is a place to stay in Tangalle! The hotel had a great location, with an amazing view. We felt as if we were the only guests, it was so peaceful and we had the pool to ourselves for almost the entire time 😍 The highlight of the hotel was the staff, so lovely and helpful! Also, they have such a cute hotel dog Kiki! The hotel also helped to rent a scooter which was very nice to see the surroundings of Tangalle. I can definitely recommend that hotel!

This pearl is an amazing place to stay! Wonderful hosts (attentive and has their own tuktuk to show the area), nice room and bed (quality mattress and pillows), perfect location for watching turtles nest at the beach (walking distance), great breakfast (try the pancakes with honey, banana and coconut), and beautiful scenery in the backyard (including various trees/plants, peacocks and butterflies). Highly recommended!

Great location. Not too far from the city centre and only like 2 mins walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. The A/C works very well and good shower pressure as well. The host was very helpful. Gave me informations about the bus and waited with me till the bus arrived.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and the beach wonderfully quiet, the only other people we saw were the local fisherman each morning. The staff were very sweet and helpful, especially Farees annd Nilanka and The food was delicious. There was only one other room occupied when we were there so it was like having the Villa to ourselves. It would make the perfect place to stay if you are with a group of friends.

Very spacious rooms and a nice pool. All was really clean and new. AC and warm water was working very well. Best location in front of a beautiful landscape and a lot of animals to see. It was very quiet but also near to the beach and a lot of restaurants and bars. The staff was very kind and helpful. You also can do a kayak tour there, they have 2 new kayaks. I definitely would come again.

Mallika’s family is amazing. They are very friendly, rooms are clean and big, food and drinks are really good! Directly at sea and nearby other restaurants/bars. We travel with young kids and Mallika’s home is a very child friendly place to stay. We stayed 3 weeks instead of 3 nights, because it feels like home! Perfect place to stay in Tangalle.

The stay here was nice and the value of the money is alright. We stayed in one of the Cabanas and were greeted by a muffled smell .. which was not so nice. The breakfast was basic (toast, jam and eggs) so might have a look around for other places. All in all we were greeted warmly and everything was working. The location is great - 100m to the beach, several restaurants in the area with a variety of different cuisines. The “city centre” is also within a five minute walk which was great!
