Beautiful location looking out on to rice fields, great bungalows with terrace, absolutely everything ran smoothly for a fabulous safari at Wilpattu, all arranged by our hosts. We set off at dawn, in an open top keep that picked us up, fully laden with snacks & meals for the day. Only minutes from the entrance to the park, we were one of the first jeeps in and saw everything including leopards and sloth bear. In the evening we sat with other families and discussed our wonderful day.

Superb location and facilities, the staff were super accommodating, they even made us bespoke food because one of us has an allergy to many foods… the whole day safari definitely recommended. The guide was knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us to spot a leopard… which sadly was elusive but overall a great experience

great place to stay while doing a safari tour. The owner was very kind. Big room with air conditioning. We did not book a tour through them however they gave us a packed lunch to take with us anyway which was a lovely surprise. Added bonus were the two adorable dogs they have😊

Great location next to Wilpattu National Park. The room was spacious, very clean, and the evening meal was excellent.. Dylan, the owner, is very friendly and arranged a full day safari for us, providing take-away breakfast and lunch, binoculars, and even a zoom lense for our phone. Our jeep driver was very experienced and knew where to spot leopards, bears, etc. Highly recommended.

Green Sapphire is in a great location on the access road to Wilpattu. There are lots of little shops selling snacks and things along that road too. It is not isolated. It is easy to find, on a good, sealed road.
The place is kept immaculately clean.
Dylan (the main host) is very responsive and helpful and will sort out whatever you need. He also provided plenty of food as well as binoculars, a tripod and a lens for mobile phone cameras

This is a good place to disconnect and spend time on the river (we had a lovely kayak at sunset). The staff are very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to help us. The location is good for Wilpattu also.

The location in the midst of the jungle and on the beautiful wide river. Very calm, lots of wildlife and great hospitality. My wife said”this is one of the best places I’ve ever been!”
