The highlight was definitely the free boat trip, which was such a thoughtful and memorable addition to our visit. I don't know about the season, but now we were alone. It was very quiet, extremely pleasant, and the host was incredibly kind. He offered us to extend our check-out time until the evening, he brought us grapes. We didn't miss anything and felt great. The place is close to the big beach which was also lovely.

The road to get at Horizon Lodge tiny house is at least challenging, but so worth it! With some good guides and information we got there. What a wonderful stay we had in this tiny house in the middle of the mountains! Most amazing view you van imagine! It's amazing how they managed to put all the modern facilities in this little cabin (WiFi, airconditioning, TV, more than enough places to charge your phone etc). Such an eye for detail in the whole cabin with nice decoration and everything customized and handmade. Every space is well thought about and every corner is utilized to the max. Everything is there to make it a pleasant stay: breakfast, hairdryer, fridge, wood to make a fire. Facilities are there to cook a meal, though you can also eat in their restaurant. The outside hottub with view on the mountains must be the highlight of our stay! Such a cosy, romantic and once in a lifetime experience! Daria and Damir are so welcoming and do everything they can to make it the most beautiful stay and such a unique experience. They also give the best tips and recommendations for places to visit when in Montenegro. By far one of the nicest tiny houses we already did!

The staff is extremely friendly, the boss a jovial, good-humoured person. Breakfast with cricket singing and jazz music means simply holiday. The beach (pebbles) is 2.2 km away (Valdemos) We recommend travelling to Velica plaža by car (15 minutes) There is a sandy beach, the sea is more beautiful, there are always enough places (for beach visitors and cars :-)) and the sunbeds are inexpensive (12€ per day for two people with umbrella) The hotel is ideal for beachgoers and adventurous travellers who want to get to know the country and culture A car is always recommended and contrary to all preconceptions: no heavy traffic and driving is easy

Perfect place to stay for a few nights. Very nice owners and great hostel. Swimming pool, garden, fully equipped open air kitchen, great beds and all very clean.The owner build the place himself which is very impressive. Cose to busstation, old town, supermarket and beach.

The prices are cheap, the location is very far from the city center but still not far from the beach and the coast, there are cafes and supermarkets nearby. The owner helped with our late check-out.

The location is excellent, one of the best locations in Ulcinj, with free parking. Nice sea view. The host was very friendly. The apartment is really comfortable. One added bonus is that in the early morning the fishermen returning from the sea pass in front of the balcony, so we could buy super fresh fish from them. I would definitely return to this apartment, if I were to visit Ulcinj again.
