The property comes with amazing view of ocean. This small boutique hotel is value for money when you are coming to celebrate Anniversary or Honeymoon. The rooms are big and spacious with all amenities Staff - Most courteous and ready to help with anything. They were extremely friendly, helpful. The chef also helped us with vegetarian options. Food was worth and delicious.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in Post Lafayette, Mauritius. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The booking process was effortless, thanks to the exceptional agent, Nathanielle. She was incredibly helpful and proactive, making the entire reservation process smooth and stress-free. Her communication was outstanding—I would often receive updates or answers to questions before even asking. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, which added so much to the overall experience. We arrived a bit late, but everything was perfectly arranged. As promised, the security team was expecting us, and retrieving the keys from the secure lockbox (combination provided beforehand) was straightforward. The apartment itself exceeded all expectations—it’s even more beautiful than the photos! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket filled with goodies like bread, honey, tea, coffee sachets, biscuits, and milk. Such a lovely touch! The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with essential amenities like air conditioning (a must in Mauritius!). Each bedroom, as well as the living area, has its own balcony with comfortable seating, and the view of the ocean from the living room balcony is simply breathtaking. The direct beach access was another highlight that made our stay extra special. Daily housekeeping service added to the convenience, and the availability of dishwasher and washing machine pods was a thoughtful detail. The security personnel were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. For transportation, we highly recommend using the Yugo app for taxis—it’s reliable and efficient. Nearby restaurants offer delivery, and all the essential information about the apartment, local services, and dining options is conveniently compiled in a booklet on the dining table. This apartment truly provided a perfect getaway, and we can’t recommend it enough.

From the first moment when we entered we feel welcomed. We were welcome by Liuba (Love) and this is exactly what we felt in each place on the resort - love for the people, love for the nature, love for the animals and birds around. Food is delicious, location is very quiet, very nice smell of ylang-ylang on the main places. Also we received some surprises during our stay which made our stay even more unforgettable. - Will definitely recommend this place. It’s true heaven on Earth. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Almost everything was perfect here. - Hotel has very nice interior and exterior design and has been seriously renovated. - Amazing beach with clear water and white sand. - Great restaurants. We loved the most Beach Rouge for lunch and dinner. And Beijin duck is the best in Chinese restaurant. - Great variety of water activities, most of which are free of charge even water skies. - All-inclusive package worse that. Great variety of drinks and food included. You do not need anything beyond that.

In short, I definitely recommend staying in Shanti Nivas, I loved my stay there. Jay and Henry were very welcoming, helpful and overall great hosts. Their warm personality makes Shanti Nivas so exceptional. The rooms are spacious, airy, spotless clean and equiped with all the necessary amenities, including net against mosquitos (very useful). Balcony with outside seating area is again spacious and faces the beautiful garden Jay and Henry created. The garden is simply beautiful and it contains sizeable part of all Mauritian plant species (not kidding!), including impressive papaya tree and range of other plants, which attract fruit bats and various bird species. Definitely take the breakfasts, they are served in the garden and very yummy - selection of tropical fruits was lovely, but for me the special highlight was the omelette, the chats, and the red cardinal bird of course :) Also best value for money from the places we stayed in. The only thing to consider for pedestrian travellers is that the road to nearest beach or anywhere outside of the village is a for the adventurous folks as there is not much space for walking on the road and locals drive fast, but you can take local taxis/buses and if you have a car, this is no issue.

The hotel has a beautiful beach with free water sports for guests. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. The food was delicious and for the price, we believe it was a great deal. We celebrated our honeymoon at the hotel and they made us feel special on our arrival with some snacks and gifts. The Spa and the gym were a nice bonus during rainy/windy days.
