Excellent location and facilities. Comfortable private room. Well equipped communal kitchen.Plenty of toilets and showers.Very clean. Very friendly and helpful cleaning staff member. Enjoyed chatting to other guests in the communal kitchen. Walking trails close to the hostel.

Very well maintained and cozy room. Tash was an excellent host. One of our best stay if not the best in overall in New Zealand. Wonderful location, very clean and modern room. Kitchen is perfectly equiped for every kind of operation.

Vikki and Gerard were such wonderful hosts, always making sure I had everything I needed and offering great advice on walks and what to do in the area (there are heaps!) The rooms were spotlessly clean, and such a comfortable bed with an electric blanket at the end of a long day of tramping was bliss! With only 3 rooms it was very quiet (most guests were out exploring the area all day), and had such a cozy and homely feel that I had to book an extra night just to enjoy some quiet time with a book.

The Barn was very private and very comfortable. Loved being a bit further away from other travellers. The fire place was a lovely touch. The beds ultra comfy. It felt new and clean.
