Friendly staff in a beautiful house made it hostel! with outstanding surroundings. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was clean, tidy and with all the necessary implements to cook. Also, lots of space in fridge and shelves for your food. The bathroom was nice too, hot shower, towel, body wash and clean! And the common areas is just beautiful, with lots of gameboards and a fire pit that should be amazing for cold winters. If I have the opportunity to comeback to Piha, I'll choose Piha backpackers to stay no matter what! Good job Piha Backpackers, wish you the best. :)

The area was amazing, the staff were very friendly and nice, we had a mishap with our room and the manager was very accommodating, we did have to downsize but he came to apologise and offered us a complimentary breakfast, which he reserved our table for us, and a discount on the room, thank you for the awesome service.

Very very cute cottage, very comfortable and quiet! We loved being tucked away from it all. Even though everything you need is only 10 mins away, great escape.

Nice quiet area, with good parking. The room was fabulous, much nicer than I expected and super spacious. It was perfect for what I needed. Next time I'm in Auckland, I'd love to stay here again.
