Greetings from Rodica&Cosmin: We read the very good reviews about the hotel and decided to choose this hotel for our stay in El Nido for 9 days, including the Christmas and New Year's Eve . I was very curious if they were true, and now I can confirm: -From the moment you step into the hotel you feel like you are in a family, all the staff are very dedicated and attentive to make the guests feel good. I would like to especially appreciate the team from the Front Office who always took care of our requests very promptly: booking trips, taxi, recommendations (Hi Val!) - The kitchen is extraordinary, a combination of traditional Filipino dishes with European dishes, all cooked with great taste, perfectly. I would like to personally send greetings to the Chef for the extraordinary New Year's Eve dinner. Also, you should not miss the event every Friday: barbecue dinner. Order with confidence the food from the hotel restaurant and from the bar, very tasty, a very good price-quality ratio, compared to what is found in El Nido (Hi Marvin, brother) - The room is nicely decorated, I received from the hotel natural juices and fresh fruits. Very comfortable bed, every day you wake up with a view of the pool. - Another plus is the location of the hotel, in the newest area of ​​El Nido, very close to the area with restaurants and bars, but without being affected by their noise. -I would like to note the organization of the New Year's Eve event, the dinner was extraordinary, we had a fireworks display from the roof of the hotel, where there is a view over the whole of El Nido. - Many thanks to the hotel manager, Mr. Nilo, for taking care every day that we feel very good and for socializing. - I would say in the end that staying at Funny Lion in El Nido is not just a simple stay but an entire experience that we enjoyed for 9 days.

Had a fantastic stay at Dryft Camp. This place is just WAW. It felt so good to spend some days in this remote place and do a digital detox. The staff is going above and beyond for you. I really loved the yoga and other sport classes with Deborah. The yoga Shala is just a dream! The food and drinks were nice. The room and shared bathrooms were clean.

The hostel is very clean with staff swiping the floors and cleaning the common areas pretty much all the time. All staff members are super nice, professional and helpful. The beds are very comfy and spacious, and the sliding doors to the beds make it seem very private, although you are in a dorm. I enjoyed also the free coffee and simple breakfast. Air con worked well.

I had a great room with a private bathroom. The rooms are clean and spacious. There’s a mosquito net over the bed, a fan, power and a place to hang clothes. The rooms are very basic but are comfortable. The meals offered were delicious and good value. There is wifi at the main building. They offer some activities like snorkeling. It’s a great place to get away from it all and relax.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel in El Nido. The location is perfect, offering both convenience and stunning views. Where do I begin. From the moment we arrived for check in Sandy and Liberty made us feel part of the family. The ease of check in, the unique hut and the relaxing feeling of being home. Breakfasts was amazing and hit the spot so that you could keep on your daily adventures. The scooter that was included makes you feel so free to explore the beautiful El Nido. If you want a tour they even assist you with that and come the time to say bye bye to El Nido that transport can also be arranged. This stay as the highlight of our trip to the Philippines and we will forsure be back to visit Hiraya campsite. One can not go wrong here.

This is the best place to stay in El Nido. We changed few hotels, 4 stars, and then we discovered 3 stars Moringa resort, which is much better than all 4 stars hotels. The apartments are spacious, very clean, comfortable, with beautiful view to the tropical garden with big swimming pool. The staff, from waiters to managers, is so kind, always smiling and ready to help you. They have a great kitchen too!

Carl and PY are incredible hosts, as their staff. They were always very helpful and anytime reachable for questions and doubts. The Villas are very nice and comfortable, location ist quiet, you will need a scooter to reach the beaches and the city center. Definitely recommendable!

We had a lovely stay here, the family that owns the hotel were really helpful and friendly. We booked a tour through the hotel and did our laundry at a good price. Free water in the reception area too. The room was comfy with good AC. Location perfect for exploring El Nido!

the experience is unique. You have the paradise only for you (we traveled on May). Maybe it's not the most comfortable place on earth but if you add authenticity to paradise you get exactly this. A perfect place to stay some days far of noise and worries. Just enjoying "your" beach near the locals. This is our Philippines dream 😊 Btw, the owner and family are really wonderful. Always helpful. It has been an important part of our experience.

Amazing location, and incredible staff made this a wonderful place to stay! The activities offered make each day an adventure. The location was very good. It was close to the city center but in a less noisy area. Everything was around the corner. El Nido is quite expensive compared to other places in the Philippines. So don’t expect to get a luxurious room. The room is basic with everything you need but nothing more. The cleanliness was okay for Asian standards. But I don’t understand the complains about the shower, the pressure is fine and you can even take a warm/hot shower.

The location. El Nido is small town and divided 2 parts, Corong-Corong beach (low tide and water dirty because of many boats parked), and El Nido downtown beach (not allowed to swim). But this places location good to reach to downtown and Las Cabanas beach (Vanilla beach) for 100 peso with tricycle.

The hotel is very clean and has a quite luxurious feeling to it. The location is good and you're in the city center in less then 10 minutes. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
