Very spacious and clean, well equipped kitchen, nice surroundings and the kindest housekeeper Samuel. I highly recommend staying here, especially considering the very affordable pricing conpared to other offerings on Flores.

First things first. It is close to the airport. 15-ish minutes on foot. There is also a convenient parking lot next to the police station nearby. It is an ideal spot when you have a car and are planning to make trekking trips around the island. The town is fairly small, so there is no problem in finding it. Owner also sent me the photo of the alley and how to get in so it was no problem at all. I´ve never met the owner but he was really respectful and straightforward in his online communication, which I appreciate. The apartment had all the appliances, washing machine, stove, microwave. Bathroom had a bidet. Although when washing clothes, you have to hang the laundry outside the old way. (good luck with the weather!) What came as a really nice surprise was a heated massage chair and a tv with good internet connection. There is also a small pier right next to the apartment so you can just go look at the night sea before sleep. It is very serene and quiet during off season. And it is all just behind the kitchen window!

At the end of our trip to Flores Island, we stayed at Casa Vicente, and it was one of the highlights of our journey. Located in a peaceful and quiet area in the northern part of the island, it offered the perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature. The house had all the facilities we needed, including a renovated bathroom that was excellent. We all slept very well thanks to the cozy and comfortable setup. On top, Casa Vicente has a lovely garden that our children absolutely loved - plenty of space to play and even some extra toys thoughtfully provided by the owners. Definitely, it was a perfect base for exploring the northern part of the island. And just a short 2-minute walk from the house, we could admire the view of Corvo Island. A big thank you to Susana, whose attention and kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. She was always available and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that the place is being lovingly maintained and improved. We wish the owners all the best with the ongoing improvements. Being in such a remote place, it’s understandable that not everything is available right away, but they’ve done a great job making it comfortable and welcoming.

What a beautiful and clean place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by the family and truly felt right at home. They are incredibly hospitable and happy to help if needed. We had a wonderful time and felt completely relaxed. A special thanks as well to your lovely daughter for the beautiful drawing of the boat — we’re definitely taking it back with us to the Netherlands!

Catarina is a lovely host, really sweet and warm-hearted. The cottage where we stayed was cute and cozy. We had everything we needed and the stay overall was amazing. We wish we had stayed there longer. Also, the location is really good and it’s right by a super good restaurant that we also highly recommend. We were super happy to have found such an incredible accommodation!

Great place to stay in Flores, right next to natural swimming pools. The owner is so nice and helpful, happy to share the tips about the island but also to help with any issues during the stay. The place was previously used to store boats and the construction is original which makes it a unique accommodation. Shared spaces are huge, the kitchen well equiped and shared bathroom kept clean and comfortable to use even with more guests. I'd recommend the place to anyone who is going to visit the beautiful Flores island.

The apartment itself, it was very spacious. The location was good, very close to everything. The beds were comfy and the kitchen complete with a good oven. The airport was no inconvenience, the first plane landing was a great timing for waking up ;)

The host was very welcoming. I didn't have a phone so I missed the check in information which otherwise was perfect. Big rooms. Nice balcony with a view of green fields + cows. Very peaceful. The welcoming package was a surprise. A bottle of wine and a cheese platter. Very nice touch! Maria also helped to book a boat tour round the island + corvo which was to be the highlight of my 3 1/2 weeks travel in the Azores. I loved the location a little walk from the airport. The whale museum was fascinating!

Great location in Santa Cruz das Flores! Walkable and close to the airport. The space was very clean and well-equipped for a 5-day stay in Flores. Plus, the host was very nice and responsive! Our flight out of Flores was delayed and almost completely cancelled and our host was very flexible with allowing us to stay a little later (assuming they had availability, of course). I would absolutely stay here again!

The apartment is roomy. Good location and view on the water (although no direct access from the room) The host is really helpful and communicative. The place was very clean and the kitchen was really well stocked.

A good place to spend a few days on the island. It is very convenient that the apartment has a washing machine and detergent for it. In addition, there is a coffee machine and capsules for it. There is everything for cooking. Thanks to the air conditioner, the apartment was warm. Convenient location, free Parking nearby, supermarket within walking distance.

The house is in a gorgeous location, the hill at the back, cows and rabish in the countryside next to the window. The decorations is cutte and it has everything you need. The householder and the housekeeper were really kind and they were always there to help us. Thank you sooooo much for the welcome gift.
