First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. This was a wonderful stay that went above and beyond our expectations. The room had a panoramic one way window with the view of the mountains, a sunny terasse, it was clean, big and comfortable. Outside, you can hear the gentle sound of the river. There is even a mini fridge and a coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was spectacular. For all the vegans out there, this was the first place in Portugal that offered vegan options. The host was also super nice and friendly. We had an amazing time.

We used the hotel as a base for exploring the Serra da Estrela on our motorbike. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast. We were able to park our motorbike under cover just outside the main doors.

The host met us and brought us into the apartment. Gave us a quick tour of the facilities and left a home made chocolate cake as a welcome treat. The place is modern, clean and really comfortable. A wonderful place to stay.

Nice cosy place, with friendly atmosphere. Excellent location near Serra da Estrela, although the village itself does not offer much more than Casas do Cruzeiro. The restaurant is also a very good option. You don’t need to go out, and the food and service are quite good.

Very calm and peaceful location. The hosts are so warm and welcoming. Very clean and pretty accommodation on the edge of town down an unpaved road. The dinner was absolutely fantastic and the breakfast also. Definitely coming back here.

Location was great, beautiful decoration and garden. Christmas decoration was also very nice. Room had a fire place and we had dry woods to use, air conditioner, good service and amazing view.

What we didn't like was the location was a 15-minute walking up a steep road after check-in at Casas da Lapa. Then the bathroom is upstairs (15 steps) with no railing to grab to. It's totally unsafe for us seniors. They should mention this to someone who is looking to book at Soito. Must say, though, the management remedied the situation by transferring us to their wonderful Casas da Lapa Hotel. A heart felt thank you to Nuno.
