We spent a week in Zanzibar in 3 different hotels close in price and this was clearly the best. Everything was excellent from the reception, to the room, the pool and the restaurant directly on the beach and the staff was very kind and smiling all the time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location and view to the beach was amazing. At low tide the water is pretty inaccessible, but that's the case throughout most of this part of Zanzibar. The food at the hotel was really nice. A bit pricey in my opinion, but I enjoyed being able to rely on a yummy meal without traipsing out alone at night. I returned to Zanzibar to spend a week relaxing before continuing my journey. This was the perfect place to do it. There's not much around the hotel and the walk to more restaurants and whatnot is about 20 minutes, but it's a lovely walk. The bed was comfortable. Very nice. They were helpful arranging tours etc. The only hiccup came when I booked my own taxi for the return to the airport at my departure. This seemed to cause quite a stir. At the last minute my driver was changed then about 10 minutes into my ride (at 4:30am in the pitch dark) the taxi arranged by the hotel stopped on the side of the road and insisted that I move to a smaller taxi that was waiting there for me. It was not the end of the world, but seemed to be the result of a territorial position by the hotel. I could be wrong. The room was really lovely, quiet with reliable A/C. Unfortunately the hot water and the internet were not quite as reliable. I had planned to work while there but it was not always possible to hold video calls. Having lived in East Africa though I know this is not in the hands of the hotel. The stay was really really lovely. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again if I find myself in Zanzibar again.

I stayed at Zan Hotel for over a week and was satisfied. Every morning, a delicious, extensive breakfast was served, with choices along the beach or from the panoramic rooftop restaurant, where you can also enjoy a delicious dinner in the evening at a reasonable price. They organize fun activities, such as a henna session, a short village walk with a very local guide, and so on. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. During my first few days, there was construction going on at the hotel, so I got a better price on Booking.com, which seems fair to me. There are several clean swimming pools you can use, with sea views. The beds are comfortable and clean, and the shower is good.

Location, location, location. The hotel is on the most beautiful beach. just a perfect distance from the busy Paje beach and village. The staff were amazing and attentive. Our suite was big and comfortable. They are also very mindful of the guests and ensure the constant flow of hawkers do not harass the guests as there are many. We will be back for what felt like the perfect tropical island getaway.

It is an amazing accomodation! Really beautiful and gives you a holiday feeling! In front of the sea with confortable beds to enjoy the day at the beach! Mr.Ally the manager made us feel home! Perfect service and extremely friendly! The food is also really good with a fish from the BBQ every night! On Fridays the have an African night with great music and food! To conclude: this is a must place to stay in Zanzibar!

Sahari is a beautiful hotel that is much better than in the pictures, very good value for your money. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Food and breakfast at the restaurant was fresh and delicious. The location is a bit far from the buzz, you'll need a taxi to get anywhere, but perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all thank you nikki for your amazing hospitality i had a wonderful stay in you blue palm . every thing was perfect to the point .. Amazing food .. Great location .. Direct to the beach with the perfect ocean bearth for a nice sleep at the night it gets cold and windy so sleeping on the breath and sound of the ocean was something else .. I definitely recomemnd this place .. I falld in love with it .. Thank you nikki again for been super nice . much love

This is definitly a 10+ of 10 location. All was perfect. The tree house, all necessary equipment and comfort, first line at the beach. And first of all the team around Susi and Alfred. I once will come back that's for sure.

The location, the staff, general manager Nikki so helpful and so accommodating. The authentic African feel. Lot of amenities in neighbouring villages like Paje and Jambiani. Since has taken over she has really bought this resort to life. The amount of renovations she has done and is still doing is testament to this. Incredible determination.
