The location was awesome! I loved the sink that was in the main area with the coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. Only 4 rooms on our floor and by the time we left we knew most of the other vacationers. Felt more like an apartment than a hotel room.

I stayed here last year and this year. I like the location and the quietness of this part of the island. I have been coming to Buxton and Frisco for over 40 years.

The couple running the place were so accommodating. They were genuinely caring and so helpful and nice. They were there for our every need. I can't say enough about the customer service we received. The hotel had ample room for our family of 5. It's hard to find nice hotels that fit larger families. The hotel location is perfect. It has a nice pool and hot tub as well as direct access to a private beach with breathtaking views.

Location couldn’t be better, right on the beach! You literally walk out of your room on the beach. We had coffee and breakfast on the beach, you hear the waves,… Wonderful! Also the friendliness of the staff. They go above and beyond to provide everything you need.

The location was great, close to the beach and other activities. Room was comfortable but smelled a little musty. Pool area was nice. Overall not a bad place to stay.

I’ve chosen this hotel because of its view and location, and I promise you it wont disappoint you. The location is just wonderful. The building is very nice and well distributed, fitting perfectly into the landscape. The rooms are very nicely decorated, with a contemporary beach vibe. The bathroom could use sone renovation, but all in all it was good. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and boh were amazing. Best breakfast I’ve had in the USA during my 14 days road-trip.

Great location, easy to reach and very good value for money. The owners have been very helpful late in the evening to get into the room (we wasn’t aware that we get an email to register) and everybody have been very friendly during our stay.

Not only is the beach a short distance, the pool is a gem! So clean, with lots of room to relax. Walking distance to Diamond Shoals, and Dillon’s, we had such a great stay. This is the place to stay! The employees also deserve recognition for how much work they do!

My husband and I came down for an anniversary trip. After booking, we saw some mixed reviews. I'm a little confused on the reviews because we had a great experience. It's quiet, clean, the rooms are nice. Staff was nice. I was confused on the kiosk in the lobby but it was actually convenient. Great place to stay. We will definitely be back. Very close to the beach, walking distance. Awesome place to stay. Most everything is within walking distance and that was really convenient!
