The air con worked really well and having a kitchen was an added bonus. It was very private and quiet and the staff were friendly.

On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. You can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset over the water on the main land, from the resort. It's our second time staying at Whitsunday Sands Resorts. Enjoyed it the first time and loved it the second time. Will definitely be back again!!

The self contained accommodation offers free transfers from airport, train and bus stations on request. I had a lovely stay at this country-style accommodation! The rustic charm of the place really stood out, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The cabin was equipped with everything I needed, from the comfortable furnishings to the thoughtful amenities. The peaceful surroundings and warm lighting made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, country-style retreat!

We have a spacious shared outdoor kitchen/dining area for those requiring cooking facilities. this is our second stay at Debbie’s place and got to try out another room. equally comfortable, clean and tucked away in a quiet spot. outdoor kitchen living area great.

The Owners & Staff at Dreamtime have travelled the world. Our commitment to offering fellow travellers an awesome place to stay is at the heart of everything we do. Initially booked this hostel for three days, but the atmosphere was so wonderful and relaxing that I ended up staying for nearly a month. There are no bunk beds—just regular beds—so it feels much more comfortable. Almost every room has its own fridge, and there are plenty of bathrooms and kitchens available, the place also very clean which adds to overall comfort. The garden is incredibly peaceful; you might not even want to leave once you settle in. There’s also a cool common area on the second-floor balcony with a red sofa where I spent most of my time. This is definitely not the typical party hostel full of loud drinking or drugs. Whenever I came in, people were meditating, doing yoga, reading, painting, or writing. If you’re looking for a party-all-night vibe, this may not be the place for you. The guests here have a different energy—more mature, quiet, and respectful. It’s also a very safe choice for solo female travelers. Another unique aspect is that the owners are often at reception, which makes the place feel safer, and they address any issues immediately. However, if you’re a digital nomad, be aware that the internet can be spotty in some rooms—especially in rooms 6 and 7, where it doesn’t reach at all. Even a Telstra hotspot wasn’t sufficient there. The internet in room 19 was much better, and it’s very good in the common areas. But working in the common area during the summer without air conditioning can be tough due to the heat. In the winter, though, it could be a great environment for digital nomads. It might be even better if they added two or three small coworking or meeting areas in the garden—then it would be a digital nomad’s paradise. They’ve created an incredibly peaceful atmosphere overall. If you’re looking for a calm, relaxing place rather than a party hostel, this is a wonderful place to stay. If you visit Cairns, don’t bother looking anywhere else!

Overlooking beautiful Laguna Bay, the renovated Seahaven Resort offers sophisticated, modern holiday apartments with direct access to Noosa’s Main Beach. The cafes, restaurants and shops of Hastings Street are on the doorstep. Most pleasant staff, Diane at the reception desk is just a gem. Australian hospitality at it's finest.
