He also knows a lot about the island and can give good recommendations. The garden itself is very nice, you can enjoy the all day reading and observing the nature. Location wise it is in the central but still quite.

Location was perfect as it was just far enough from the town hustle but close enough to walk anywhere!

The inn provides mountain views and a sun terrace. As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Natalia can help you go anywhere you want on the island. Lagoa Azul, Gruta do Acaia, Praia Lopes Mendez, all within reach. If you are looking for a place to stay on Ilha Grande to have the most perfect island getaway, look no futher then Fauna. You will create memories that will last forever.
