Personal service was excellent. The whole staff was friendly. The room was nice and clean. The location is a short walk from Reed Flute Cave which is worth the visit.

Darongshu Scenic Area is a 23-minute drive away, while Shutong Mountain can be reached in 16 minutes by car. Best hostel I've stayed in China so far! The views are incredible and the pool is so nice, perfect for relaxing, the rooms are nice, clean, beds are so comfortable and curtains provide good privacy. The hostel vibe is social but not like a party hostel, is more a relaxed vibe but good to meet people, is almost the only one where I met some foreign tourists. The staff is nice and always willing to help you, they arrange for me a shuttle to go to the train station which made everything easier for me. Totally recommended!

Faye speaks very good English and is a travel agent, which means she is perfectly placed to organise one's stay, and make one feel welcome! I will ABSOLUTELY return to them. Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. Guests can rent bikes for free at the property. I only stayed for one night during my trip, wish I could have stayed longer. Beautifully situated hotel at the bank of the river, possible to take nice walks, possible to walk up to take a raft trip, bikes are available by the accommodation. Quiet place, excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff. Possible to sit outside and eat lunch/dinner/breakfast with a view on the river.

Situated not far from Ping’an car park, the hotel is quite easy to get to, free luggage transport from Pingan car park is provided. Very nice hotel with a view of the rice fields, very large and comfortable room. We had a lovely breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, especially Jason, who was incredibly helpful (and speaks excellent English!)

The property features pool and river views, and is 9.2 km from Darongshu Scenic Area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Gorgeous views of the mountains and Li River from the balcony. Room was spacious and comfortable with a tucked away wood cabin vibe. Staff were friendly, spoke English and helped us book a driver to take us around scenic spots. Location is a 10 min drive away from town centre so there aren't many food options within walking distance. Thankfully the hotel's restaurant serves up some delicious local delicacies. Highly recommend this hotel if you like a quiet getaway with beautiful nature views.
