Do not attempt to the place on your own as we did :) The owner offers to wait for you at the bus stop/taxi stop and accompany you to the hotel, which is only a couple of minutes away.

The room was big and the bed very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Steve's place; meeting him significantly enhanced my experience in Zhangjiajie.

The staff were all so nice, told us everything about the area and how to get there and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. Even when we had to leave early ti catch the train they had a take away breakfast ready for us. Totally recommend!

Arranged a car to take me to see to see the Zhangjiajie cave and then to the train stations. China never disappoints.
