The owners and the staff were extraordinarily pleasant and welcoming. We were even met at the bus stop. They organized the round trip to the different sights and helped us buying the bus tickets to Popayan. There was free water and tea and we received excellent tips about good restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Samai Hotel and even extended it for another day.

The service and staff were lovely. The breakfast was delicious! I would definitely come back!! 🤩

The Christmas dinner was wonderful, and a few nights later the chef whisked up another dinner for us at short notice. The hotel is actually within walking distance of the archaeological park and several other beautiful historic sites.
