There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

We travel with a lot of people and made some changes that would actually would have been rejected somewhere else but they handle the situation with a lot of patience and professional. Our stay at Sintropia was the highlight of our two week trip in Colombia. I had been looking forward to the visit due to the rave reviews and photos- and it exceeded even my high expectations. The finca is one of the furthest out of Minca, but due to this is perched high above the sea with incredible views both morning and evening of the lush forest surroundings. The cabins are beautifully decorated and you wake to a chorus of birds right outside your balcony. We even spotted a toucan one morning! Luis and his family have created such a calm and stunning space with only three cabins and three rooms available to stay- you truly feel like you are in a small slice of paradise. The sunsets from the viewpoint are out of this world! Luis also took us on an excellent tour around the finca and explained all the work he has put into the property over the last two years- truly impressive. Don't hesitate to book here- and stay as many nights as you can! We only had two and wished we could have stayed for a week.
