A lot of greens, places to sit outside, everything well maintained. Staff is very helpful and polite! Everyone is just trying to make your stay like a home. And yes, we really felt sad when it was a time for checking out! We went in August - so it was a low season and we enjoyed the quiet peaceful atmosphere. The location is just in the middle of the village with access to almost everything. It is not a problem to get to any remote place with a tuk-tuk. BTW you can get some nice ceramic pieces (I mean the pottery has their own style) if you ask for Selim shop. Everyone knows it, you can get there by walk (7 mins) or by tuk-tuk. I definitely would love to come there again in season to go on boat, to go for birdwatching and horse riding.

This apartment has a garden and free private parking. The accommodation is large, clean and well furnished. The view was amazing from the patio. The complex does not have any facilities open but it is a short tuk tuk ride to a couple of villages. The swimming pool is just lovely. Absolutely noone else around it. So peaceful and clean. The gardens are lovely so we'll kept for an almost empty complex. It would appear the the apartments are let out by private owners where as the rest of the complex is under renovation. No noise heard at all.

Cairo International Airport is 142 km from the property. We've had a wonderful time in Sunset Camp. Wael was so helpful with us, and we were very happy with the excursions he planned for us. Bassem, the guide he sent us to visit the desert was full of knowledge and so carring with us (helping us to have fair prices when he could have just stay in the car like the other guides). If you want a special experience while staying in Fayoum, you should go through Wael ! Dinner was very local and tasteful, and there is enough to eat for two in one dish. A large campfire is organized at night, and everyone is gathering around to sing and dance, a large group of Egyptians (It was holidays time in Egypt) was there that night, and they made us feel we were part of the family. Tents are simple but it's a fair value for the price. Definitely a place you should step by if you like to go out of the typical tourist tracks
