The vibes of the old school are still there which looke really cool. We accidentally booked a wrong date, but the host prepared a room either way. Everything was clean, including the kitchen, showers and sauna.

Situated in Rovaniemi, Kotatuli Forest Lodge features accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the lake and garden. We had an amazing time in Kotatuli - staying with a local family (and their dogs) really makes a trip to Lapland very special and personal. Living in the middle of the forest is such a treat to relax and unwind, plus you get to see the Northern Lights driving there. Totally recommended!

The room has kitchen facilities and the staff welds extremely friendly helping them while they were looking for a permanent accommodation as they moved to Rovaniemi. They have helped them navigating the city and offered help several times beyond what they could expect.
