The host was delightful, and gave us some great tips on where to eat. ( Try the Thistle Inn, we had a marvelous evening there.) The caramel slice that was left for us was divine. The bed was so comfortable that we slept late on our first morning. The whole house was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. It has a bath, which is always a bonus in my opinion. There are some adorable sheep and goats right outside the back gate waiting to talk to you. The location is fantastic, incredibly beautiful and peaceful. We had a wonderful time exploring the forest and surrounding areas. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property, and we hope we get the chance to return one day.

We ordered the breakfast hampers each morning and they were delicious. There are 7 little cabins and they are great for any kind of trip. The Alder cabin also has a hot tub which was an added bonus! Elen was very responsive and incredibly helpful!
