First opened in 1902, The Balmoral now offers rooms with a spacious marble bathroom and an interactive TV. Many rooms have views towards Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town. Upon checking in we will a really get so welcome. Checking is was breeze. The hotel is so nice from the exterior to interior to the room and the staffs especially the housekeeping.

The glamorous Rutland Hotel has stylish rooms, a luxurious late-lounge, and a unique restaurant with a glass wine cellar. It is situated on the West End of Princes Street, with views of Edinburgh Castle. great location, spacious room, nice design and good service, can’t ask for more!

Though a little dated, the room was spacious, the bed so comfortable, the receptionist so friendly and helpful, and I had the most stunning views from the windows overlooking Dean Village. The location was perfect for walking to all the main touristic highlights of Edinburgh, but outside of the main streets of downtown to provide a quiet night's sleep. I would happily stay here again.

Dining was excellent.

Beautiful clean apartment with cozy comfortable beds. The kitchenette was lovimgly stocked even with a basket of goodies and a special loaf of bread. The apartment was beautifully presented with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We would definately book again if visiting. Tram stop close.

The property is non-smoking and is set 300 metres from National Museum of Scotland. This is my second time in Edinburgh, and I've stayed at two different places before. But neither was as good as this one. The room was designed like a miniature house. It was very spacious and beautiful. It felt like your own home. The location is excellent. Furthermore, the property was very kind and helpful. They even helped us with personal issues. I'd say it's one of the best options in the city. I'll be back in December and will definitely stay here.
