We really loved our stay! The village is very pretty and perfect for short walks. The room was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The food was excellent and the breakfast was 11/10. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Great room, decor is beautiful, comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Fridge in room with Prosecco was a lovely surprise also muffins. We even had a dual control electric blanket. There’s also a fan and extra heater in room if you need either. Shower is great, nice and hot. Lots of choice for breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, malt loaf, croissants, cereal, toast, crumpets and more. Theres also a beautiful lounge to relax in. Michael is such a great host and lovely company. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We loved this cottage, it had all the necessary amenities and it was really well presented. The cottage was immaculate, it was in an optimal location that allowed us to explore the local town and the surrounding areas. The host was always available to answer any enquiries and questions. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway in the peak district.

Very comfortable and characterful, beautiful location, well-equipped and much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. There are lovely walks locally and the river Wye is just across the road. A pub a few minutes' walk away and it's just a few miles from Buxton. The supply of tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen was a nice touch.

The huts have everything you need and are very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location for getting out and exploring the local area and nice and peaceful. Nicky the host goes above and beyond to ensure guests have the most amazing time and is always on hand for anything else you may need or with local recommendations. She takes pride in the huts and puts extra little touches when you arrive.
