The evening meals were really very good. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and a very good portion size. The room was light and airy and very clean suberp. Finally the staff were fantastic, really friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend the George and Dragon, a little gem.

Nestled in a small village enroute to our trip north, it was a perfect place to stop. Bernard and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and modern. Bernard gave us tips on how to use the coffee machine and charge our phones. Also supplied us with a number to contact if we had any questions! Breakfast was delish and everything we needed. Would definitely stay again AND again!

A bit difficult to find but once you’re there it’s in a lovely spot on a golf course. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was very good. Spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend.

It was a real surprise for us. The location in Oakham was very central, metres off the main town centre. Then we entered the room, it was a great size, including a large double bed, sofa and an exceptional bathroom. The host left a very good continental breakfast including cereals, bread, youghart, butter, jam and a bottle of milk. Well done and thank you to our host Alison

Wow! Amazing 3 night stay! From start to finish faultless, was greeted by James and made to feel so at ease and welcome. The guest house was absolutely spotlessly clean with everything you could need and more. Three nights of great sleep in a super comfy bed. Lovely meal at the wheat-sheaf pup/restaurant only a couple of miles away. Our little one loved meeting the horses a short walk around the corner!
