Our second visit to the New House based on an equally lovely stay last year.

Brand new house with really nice rooms, everything was super clean. The best part was the huge kitchen. Breakfast was also great.

Everything was perfect. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Their onsite bar and restaurant was warm and welcoming. The owner even put the AFL (Australian Rules Football) on the screen the following morning after breakfast. The surrounding area was picturesque and full of history. This was an impromptu trip after visiting the surrounds which was connected to family history, and we got far more than we bargained for with this hotel and Llantrisant in general.

It's a smallish building but many people were there for dinner, so it felt lively and was very welcoming. We arrived late-ish (8pm) and were pleasantly surprised that dinner was served (on a Thursday) until 9pm. Everyone who worked there and was a patron were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and had to leave early, but the room was clean and comfortable and loved the charm of the pub next to the church.

Cardiff City Centre - Luxury Apartments is a recently renovated apartment in the centre of Cardiff, 300 metres from Cardiff Castle and 500 metres from Principality Stadium. The property features city and quiet street views, and is 300 metres from St David's Hall. The apartment has family rooms. The apartment is a very large one bedroom apartment. Well laid out, nice bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen that you could actually cook in, and plenty of space to hang out. The apartment is up 2 steep, narrow flights of stairs. This was not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing. Also, the apartment is surrounded by quite a bit of noise. Crowd noise at night, seagulls in the morning, and construction throughout the day. Again, this is not much a dealbreaker for us but worth knowing.

Large spacious quiet bedroom with thoughtful items left and made available if you needed them
