Clean, modern, comfortable and everything works. Parking was excellent - private, at the very top of the hill. Make sure you follow Marko's directions to Ulica od Montovjerne 33, not the actual address, otherwise you will have a long climb up steps to get in. It's a pleasant walk to the old town. We walked home once, it wasn't too hard, and got an Uber for 5.80 euros once. If you want to eat well and cheaply (in the old town you will pay 25 euros for an average pizza) walk down the steps from the front door to get to the university district for good bars and restaurants. You can get an Uber home!

The host was simply superb in helping us find the accommodation and even walking with me to my car to guide me to the parking provided with the accommodation (in the pay lot but he takes care of the cost). Outstanding with communication, even when we were somewhat confused, and he provided a great history of the salt pans and the traditional process that is still followed (he actually worked there for a time). We love the experience of actually meeting and learning local culture from our host - we wish every booking was like that. The location is perfectly convenient right in the center of the town, and the apartment is really clean and neat. Even though we only spent one night, it was one of our top stays in Croatia over a three week period. Ston is a lovely town, especially if you like climbing on magnificent ancient walls - all the way to Mali Ston!

It has cute interior, amazing view on the fort. At the same time it has conditioners, kitchen appliances are of a good standard. Also, the host was great. Matija was welcoming, helpful and friendly! It’s about 12 minutes to the center but the fastest way goes through a long staircase, so keep that in mind. Overall, great experience, we loved staying here.
