I have been in search of a safe and lovely place to stay with my family. And this being our first ever trip from meghalaya to kerala wayanad, the stay at puzhayoram homestay was a great help. Hospitality of the people here is awesome. They dont mind giving an excellent trip plan, helped us saving lot of time. We were tensed about the safety after all those issues happened at wayanad, but for my surprise, the main attractive places of wayanad, which we have visited were functioning at the peak, and safer as earlier too. I really enjoyed the stay at puzhayoram home stay, with my kids and parents. We really enjoyed breakfast provided, ie idiyappam and veg. Korma which was infact, yum and healthy. They did not forget to pack some of their happiness in the form of small home grown spice packets, which really touched our heart. The climate, that small river near by, with all its beauty especially in the dusk and down really gave us such a homely feeling, as they say... A home away from your home... We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

It is beautifully furnished and decorated and the garden and pool are very welcoming. Food was very tasty and served with lots of kindness.
