Very good selection of breakfast treats - smoked salmon was so delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect stay! Would love to stay longer)

Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. The room was big, the location was beautiful! The breakfast was simple and delicious, the dining room is just gorgeous and it is available with the kitchen every evening (well equipped). The beds were the best thing :)

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. It offers horse riding during the summer season, traditional cooking and a geothermal outdoor hot tub. The rooms were really nice and we were able to see the northern lights just outside. Perfect!

Located in Fludir, 25 km from Geysir, Efra Sel Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Efra Sel was the nicest surprise of our trip when it comes to accommodation, and probably my favourite accommodation we stayed at in Iceland. The room was spacious and clean, and this was the only room where we had a sofa as part of a "living room corner" too. There was a sink and mirror in the room. The bathrooms are nice and there are 2 bathrooms for 6 rooms I think, which is a good ratio. We did not see other people, so it barely felt like a shared hostel bathroom. The kitchen is also well equipped with a large table facing large windows with a nice view outside. The price was also pretty affordable. We were sorry we booked only 1 night, and would definitely come back!

Everything you could possibly want was supplied, lovely welcome pack , which was most gladly received. Allocated parking space, nice rural location but near to town. A recently renovated apartment located in Hvolsvöllur, Country cottage with great view to the glacier, Eyjafjallajökull and Westman Islands features a garden. Wonderful place—check-in was a breeze and everything was easy from the start. The calm country setting offered so much relaxation and quiet, making it an ideal spot to recharge and enjoy nature.
