The town was greatly affected by the 2009 earthquake, yet the dwelling is so well renovated and offers comfort and a splendid view of the mountains and valley. The hosts are very welcoming and provide a breakfast buffet to be enjoyed on their deck overlooking the valley. The room is unique yet comfortable and quiet for sleeping. We had a nice wine-tasting at the nearby vineyard (Ville Real), also drives into the mountains to good restaurants and various places to walk. Abruzzo is peaceful, not having the tour buses of some regions. We would definitely return when we can.
