The breakfast were incredible and free! i really loved it , and even when we returned in the night they have some fruits and miso for us they were really kind and a lovely persons, I felt like home.

We were welcomed by Elizabeth who was incredibly kind and helpful, the inn itself was beautiful and our room was cozy and very comfortable. But our favorite thing were the several baths we could use, so relaxing! Nikko can be very busy with tourists but that completely made up for it:))

The private onsen is available 24 hours a day, and the hotel is conveniently located near bus stop No. 14. I would highly recommend this place to others and would be delighted to stay here again.

The lady is adorable, she goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. The restaurant house is very cute. Food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast, and the vibe very cozy as there are not that many rooms. Baths were nice and warm and it was great to be able to have them privately.

The location, deep in the mountain wilderness, is superb. Great hiking. The facility is beautiful. The meals are superb. The staff are lovely. The nicest onsen we've seen and there are some mixed bathing areas which is great for couples. If you are prepared to travel there (we travelled from Kyoto which was a long day of trains and buses) you will not be disappointed.
