Caroline is an amazing and hard-worked person. Everybody was so nice! The room was cleaned and well equipped. Lamu is so hot, so it's great to have a swimming pool!

Mostly, I was totally relaxed and the longer O stayed, the more relaxed I became. It is very well maintained and beautifully renovated hotel in the middle of the old town of Luma. Great effort has been made to reduce its environmental footprint and it is very eco friendly.

We spent 3 nights in the house with all the comforts and the incredible kindness and closeness of Fadir. He gave us many recommendations like the guide Abu who show us around very professionally and close, everything was in detail. We also thank the cook Barak who came to make us breakfast and dinner, it was incredible! If we ever come back to Lamu we will come back to Umma. Asante sana!

Swahili Dreams Apartments is set in Lamu, 200 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum, 400 metres from Lamu Museum, and 500 metres from Lamu Fort. Located around 700 metres from Gallery Baraka, the apartment is also less than 1 km away from Riyadha Mosque. The property is amazing! I stayed in 2 different rooms and both amazing. There is a shared breathtaking pool downstairs. This property is very unique a great find in Lamu. And rooms are very big. Also we booked many tours sunset cruise and old town tour both fabulous!
