The beautiful and peaceful house is located in the midst of tea plantations. We got to wake up to fresh air and mist in the morning. We were glad to spend 3 nights in the king suite, just doing nothing. The breakfast and dinner were so delicious and generous. The staff service was excellent and treated us like royalty. We had mint tea and milk tea in the afternoons. They arranged a tuktuk to take me to the waterfalls and Nuwara Eliya attractions which were about 1 hr away. Riding through the tea plantations, mountains and waterfalls was one of the best rides in Sri Lanka. Just amazing! Highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Hatton.

I read all the reviews before booking, and I can confirm that the owner really reads every comment and works hard to improve things. It was a fantastic stay – clean, quiet, with a beautiful view from the top (4th) floor. The host, Mr. Namal, was kind and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. The apartment had everything: kitchen tools, tea, sugar, salt, towels, and bathroom essentials. The weather in Nuwara Eliya is cold, so bring warm clothes – but if you don’t, the host can provide heaters at a very affordable price. Huge thanks to Mr. Namal and the friendly, helpful staff. If we return to Nuwara Eliya, we won’t stay anywhere else!

The owner was really helpful and kind, he helped me.organise few trips and recommended a reliable ruk tuk driver and offered advice on things to/see and how to do it. I cannot recommend it enough!

My stay at Dhammika's guesthouse was a true highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka and I regret not being able to stay longer. Dhammika's hospitality is truly exceptional. He picked me up from the train station late in the evening, drove me to Adam's Peak trail starting point at 2 am, organized a very authentic tea fields tour, arranged a driver for me, and even gave me recommendations for a safari for the next leg of my journey. He really took care of everything! The guesthouse itself is lovely. My room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of the surrounding tea fields and the lake. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the warmth and friendliness of Dhammika's family made staying there a pleasure. The area is breathtakingly beautiful and Dhammika's guesthouse is the perfect base to explore it from. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

What made our stay even more memorable was Rajith, the wonderful owner. He went above and beyond to take care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed — from providing water and laundry service to recommending great restaurants and organizing our tea trail excursion. He even helped with transport to the town center and arranged last-minute emergency rides, including a 5 AM trip to the train station! Thank you, Rajith, for making our time in Nuwara Eliya so special!
