This was the loveliest, most charming and best hosted accommodation of our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. The owners were incredibly kind and have created a little paradise behind their lovely entrance gate. We were very warmly welcomed with a cold fresh fruit drink and a necklace of hibiscus. The room was large and beautifully decorated, with the added charm of hibiscus flowers scattered on the bed and in the bathroom! They have access to a gorgeous beach just a 3 minute walk away where the ocean is actually swimmable! The breakfast they served us included a wide range of beautifully prepared fruit and our choice of eggs - we had a Sri Lankan style omelette that was delicious. We had an equally warm goodbye when we left and consider the hospitality here amongst the best we have experienced in our very expansive travels. We would 150% recommend this wonderful guest house!

Comfortable accomodation with really close to the beach. Have to eat their seafood dinners :)

Outside area with table/chairs and pool just outside the door. Genuinely friendly, help- and respectful family that owns the guesthouse. Made us feel at home immediately. They helped us with scooter rental, tuk tuk transport and all other questions that popped up during our stay. Star of the family is - of course - the dog Tio. Unbeatable price/value.

Situated within 500 metres of Bentota Beach and 400 metres of Bentota Lake in Bentota, Channa Villa & Tours features accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property has a restaurant with an outdoor dining area. We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

I had also birthday during our stay and the hotel staff prepared a wonderful dinner right at the sea, with Prosecco and wonderful decoration (it was a surprise: they wrote “Happy Birthday” and my name with little stones - very accurate and with details) and a cake special for me (they need to buy it outside!) It was really a wonderful stay :-)
