His daughters made us such an amazing breakfast, each day you get a different breakfast. Also one of our favorites we've had during our stay here! Every day of the week is a different breakfast. We also got a juice and a snack during the day!! The place is convenient as it has its private beach and it's not too far away from the center too. We'd love to come again! Great room in a really beautiful garden. Everything you need with mosquito net, Air conditioning, towels and hot water. You can also get dinner from the host. Short walk to the most beautiful beach in Bentota, no problem to cross the railway lines.

Unfortunately we only stayed in the accommodation for three nights because we were traveling through Sri Lanka by tuk-tuk. The River Breeze Villa is absolute madness. Pradeep and his family are so incredibly nice and accommodating and try to organize everything you need. The bed was the best of our trip so far and there is even a pool that you can use at any time. There is also a great breakfast. If we are in Bentota again, we will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

Great place to stay in Bentota within a 5 minute walk to the best beach in the area. There are also good eateries around with excellent food and reasonable prices. The rooms at the villa are maintained to the highest standards, very clean, hot water, kitchen, cutlery, complimentary tea/coffee. Channa, the host , and his family are very supportive, helped to arrange airport transfer and some other trips. Strongly recommend.

Being secluded, with a good distance from the next cabana, we enjoyed the serenity and had the pleasure of observing the local wildlife in nature. Outdoors: This property truly allows you to disconnect. It is peaceful, with a beautiful garden and pool, and is situated far enough from the main street that we couldn’t hear any noise. Yet, we were close enough to the beach to enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves, which were just a ten-minute walk away. Services: Happy Man Village offers a complimentary drop-off and pick-up service to beaches and restaurants via tuk-tuk. We were fortunate to be escorted to a temple where a monk provided thoughtful explanations about the local culture. Additionally, they offer laundry services (for a fee) and kindly arranged a massage for us on the property (also for a fee). We highly recommend the boat tour along the river or lake, where you can immerse yourself in the local jungle and see the train tracks washed away by the 2004 tsunami. Our suggestion is to do it at sunset, so you can see the birds returning home to roost. Food: Before our last night, we took a cooking class with the chef in the kitchen, which was a delightful and fun experience. We had a great exchange while learning the secrets of Sri Lankan curry. The dinner at the restaurant on the second evening was equally delicious!
